Naming a company can be an incredibly challenging yet rewarding experience. When we embarked on the journey to name my brand, we wanted something that would capture the essence of balance and unity. After numerous iterations and much introspection, we arrived at the name House of Devi. This choice was not just a name; it represented a transformative journey within myself.
The journey to House of Devi started with a deep dive into my own identity. I wanted a name that did not conform to traditional gender norms and instead embodied both masculine and feminine energies. My goal was to create a brand that reflected the idea that we are all a blend of these energies—a concept that resonates deeply with me.
I spent countless hours in soul-searching activities, including meditations, therapy sessions, coaching, and energy healing, hoping to discover the missing piece in my life. Despite these efforts, there was an element of my identity that felt incomplete.
The turning point in my journey was the realization that I had been denying the divine feminine within me.
